This week we offer you another of the jewels of our archives: This highly collectible punk wave gem, unknown to many, is where one of The Cure's rarest singles was included. The box containing 6 promotional white label singles, with unique cover art and band info on the back cover, (The Cure, New Adventures, Heroes, The Invaders, Protex and The Akrylykz) was only distributed to radio stations. Probably no more than 100-150 boxes were produced. These, when they broadcast the singles, separated them from the box set and filed them separately, so most of the box sets disappeared. Today you can have it as if it had arrived at your station in 1980, like new, with its poster, its insert and the six new unplayed singles ready to be programmed by your favourite radio DJ.....
